This book below may shed much light and resources for so many of the posts I have been reading on this forum. Dr. Mellilo's book, Autism: The Scientific Truth About Preventing, Diagnosing, and Treating Autism Spectrum Disorders–and What Parents Can Do Now.
And if you have doubts if your child is autistic or has ADHD< you can/should go get tests done. You need to know the bottom line and take the necessary steps based on the diagnosis.
Therapies that help are also cognitive behaviour therapy, CBT, psychiatric care, and/or speech therapy. They all may have to be done. It is that serious.
Also get your child's eye-sight checked. I had a friend who's boy was acting out, since he could not see right (he also has ADHD). Also of the posts I read here, I have not seen one yet mention changing the diet or nutrition of their children.
If indeed your child does have any of these disorders, medication (light dose) can be an option...but again it is trial and error. I have noticed that Adderall works for some, and seratonin. It greatly helps with anxiety. Also there are websites to help manage "explosive" children like: www.livesinthebalance.org/.
One thing I know for sure, is that there is no one pill, or 10 pills that can get rid of these conditions. It demands, therapy, psychiatric if needed, sports, complete change of nutrition, limit in stimuli that make the child anxious/violent, teaching the child mindfulness, and just VERY engaged parenting and prayer.
