Oh and probably the easiest thing to do would be do get yourself some freezer safe and microwave safe containers you can get small ones for baby food. Good up a heap of veggies like sweet potato pumpkin what ever veggies and so fourth you like and cook a heap up and freeze it. It's up to you how much. I use to do it once a week. If you have a steamer with with a couple of section you could do one lot of veggies in one and a different lot in the next section so there's a little bit of variety. I used to do it once a week just so I have something that I was able to prepare quickly just microwave that way you're not tempted to resort to the tin food and baby custards.

That's normally babies generally refuse things they are unsure about based both on flavour and texture. I'd encourage you though to keep offering other food even if he does reject them. It can take some time for babies to acquire tastes to different food and I'd encourage you to offer a lot of savoury and vegetable purees. Be persistant. Don't give in just because he likes it because it will make it really hard to get him to eat anything but what he likes when he's older and if that's sweet stuff and custard it makes it really hard. Good luck
