My 10 month old cries all the time! What should I do? HELP!

Mostly he wants to be picked up (but you have to walk around while holding him) but sometimes he even cries in my arms. He's been this way since he was born. The first few weeks of his life everyone said he was just colicky but he's def not anymore! I tell myself he's teething now but I seem to always find myself making excuses for his behavior and I deep down I don't really think these things are the reasons. He only wants to be with me, my husband or my mother. And just yesterday he started pulling away from them!!! His doctor says there's nothing wrong with him, he just has a bad case "mamitis" (not sure how to translate but it basically means he wants to be with mommy all the time.) I'm a stay at home mom and he's breastfed, I give him attention; kisses, cuddles, playtime, reading, singing, healthy snacks etc. I've even tried letting him watch some tv (which I was always against.) These things keep him entertained for a little while (sometimes he even smiles or laughs!) but he quickly bores of whatever we're doing and starts crying or fussing again! He fights his diaper changes, getting dressed or undressed, his naps, and his bedtime, and for a while he'd fuss while nursing but that's gotten a little better. He recently started "walking" and I thought that would help bc he'd have more freedom but no such luck! I don't know what to do anymore!!! My friend's all have these happy babies who only cry when something is wrong! Will he ever stop?!? I just want him to be happy!
