My 10 week old daughter is sorta constipated... she hasn't completely stopped pooping yet, but I don't want it to reach that point, when she does go its a very little amount and its hard. What can I do to help? Being a first time mom I'm at a loss...any advice would be greatly appreciated:-) thanks in advance:-)

Your welcome my daughter is now 5yrs old but i had the same situation with her when she was 4 months old and i as a first mom did not know what to do and made the huge mistake most hispanic moms do and listened to other ppl advice of natural remedy and gave her a little bit of virgin olive oil and that gave her a instant diarrea few minutes which relieved her but could of dehidrated her so i learned that the best thing to do is to always consult her pediatric specially when we are dealing with babies here but good luck

Try switching formula if your feeding her formula but best thing to do is take her to her pediatric and they might suggest a different formula or tell you whats wrong

I have talked to her pediatrician...she told me it was normal..but my daughter strains so hard to go that she makes herself sick...it just worries me..but I will call the pediatrician again Monday to find out, they're supposed to switch her over to enfamil the 28th of this month. But thank you:-)
