My 10 year old son has only loss 2 teeth and is the shortest one in 4th grade. Is this normal or could the lack of tooth loss be a sign of lack of growth hormones?

It's true that kids with growth hormone deficiency can lose their teeth later than average. That's not the only cause though
Has your son had dental x-rays to confirm that he has all of his secondary / permanent teeth? Usually the adult teeth push the baby teeth out. You won't lose the baby teeth on the usual schedule if some of the adult teeth are missing.
