My 10yr old daughter Polly, has recently told me that she "always needs the toilet." She also says when she urinates she sometimes may do a few drops and that is all and sometimes she does more but feels she needs to go straight away again and she has to push hard to get any urine out. Is it a urine infection or something worse? I am really worried!

Is she eating and drinking ok?
Does it hurt when she goes to the bathroom?
I would take her to the Dr,they can do a UA to see if she has a UTI or anything else that is "off" in her urine

Sounds like either a urinary tract infection or a bladder infection. This happened to me when I was about the same age. I would get her in to see the doctor as soon as possible. Cranberry juice might help in the meantime.
