If your baby is coughing..and a fever.. he might have a start of a cold.. You can get temp assure ( a natural medicine), that will help get rid of the tempature. It works great. You can also get homeopathic medicines to treat alfa cf. It works great too.

I use the homeopathic for my babies and I also give them colidal silver ( soverign silver 10 ppms) , echinechea, vit . c , ginger, acidolphilis, phytocillin, flaxseed.. I blend them together. I open up the capsules and put like 1/4 of the pill in a bowl of each pill and put a 1/2 of teaspoon of applebutter in the bowl and mix it.. and give to my babies.. Since your baby is 11 months old.. he should take it with a spoon. The homeopathic medicines.. what good is about that is that the pills you give them melts in their mouth.

Watch for the high fever. See if it breaks overnight. Doctors will tell you that high fever is not a symptom of teething. And definitely coughing is not a a symptom of teething. Your child may have the flu. I would see your family doctor if the fever doesn't break.

By the way, I'm not sure who the nurse practicioner is that you spoke to but you should report them. They are providing you with wrong information. The fact that you said coughing should be sufficient to eliminate teething as the reason.

How long has he been like this? I think a cold last about a week max . I really dont think teething makes babies act that way , if i were u i would take a different nurses opinion normally if u have a feeling somethings wrong u would be right
