My 11 months old baby needs a breast feed to go back to sleep, what do I do?

It started on the first night at the hospital when she kept crying and my mom brought her to sleep beside me. She has slept beside me every night since then, always waking up to suckle. This happens about 5 times before dawn. She is now 11 months old and I find it a bit awkward. She is not only sleeping beside me for comfort, she has to feed or she won't go back to sleep. Has any mom here been through the same and how did you get your baby to to back to sleep when he/she wakes up to feed (on your boobs).
