I'm soon going to be a psychologist and it appears that she maybe suffering from Generation Me issues. This generation does not care about anything and is very self absorbed. It may take you getting her involved into a ministry group that helps unfortunate children and or homeless kids, that sometimes opens up their eyes to see that they have it good and to be appreciative of that. Good luck with your child, this too will pass, maybe not fast, but it will :)

I have an 11 year old daughter and trust me it is a very hard age to deal with. I tend to find myself yelling and fussing at her to do simple things like pick up her shoes or make her bed. It is very frustrating but I try to set deadlines out for a day or two. I will say to do something lie straighten up her room on Monday, I then wait a day or two and tell her she has until that night to clean it up, that usually helps. For immediate action, I will take away privileges like her phone or tablet and restrict her from going outside too. Have you tried any of these things yet?
