My 11 year old son who is very intelligent and active is under weight. He is just 23 kilogram or 50.6 pounds. He has breakfast everyday which includes a glass of milk, one egg and one slice of bread. In lunch he has either pasta or chicken sandwich or roti and veggi along with one fruit either banana or apple. In evening around 4pm he has a glass of milk and for dinner he has roti and veggi or meat. He is not very picky but at same time not a big eater. what should I do to increase his weight or what is he missing in his diet? Can it be any medical problem? He is a chess player and does lot of mental work. sometimes he complaints of head ach after his chess tournaments and says he was not able to concentrate because of it. Please help.
