My 12 and 14 year old daughters want to drink energy drinks

My husband was hospitalized about 2and a half years ago for kidney failure and severe dehydration because of energy drinks. I was told by one of the nurses on duty that a week before he was put in there, there was a 17 year old that died from heart failure after drinking only 1.

Absolutely not. There is no need for girls or boys this age to be drinking energy drinks. First, they contain way too much caffeine and also contain other ingredients in high concentration that are not good for even adults. Second, they have had cases in the past where kids under the age of 18 have died as a result of drinking the energy drinks and in some cases they drank more than one or two a day. Third, it raises blood pressure and can lead to heart issues early in life. Fourth, these kids do not need all that extra stuff in their systems.
