I have exclusively breastfed my daughter and have always had the intention of weaning her on to cows milk at 12 months old. She is now 12 months old and won't have cows milk, warm or cold from a cup, beaker or bottle :-( She has also decided to refuse breastmilk from a bottle although she was fine with this before, I think she now thinks it may be cows milk so doesn't trust it. She nurses in order to get to sleep which I am gradually trying to change, I do not agree with leaving her to cry as I am building a relationship with her built on trust, and she trusts I will be there if she needs me. She still wakes 2 or 3 times a night for milk and most of the time I put her back in her cot afterwards. The night feeding is probably because she associates sleep with feeding but I just feel confused on what to do next? I feel guilty as well if she won't have cows milk do I just have to keep breastfeeding? Please help.
