My 12 year old daughter won't stop lying and is constantly in trouble.

I am at my wits end. I have even threatened to move her in with my scary mom. Nope she still gets in trouble daily. Lies lies lies if her mouth is moving she's lying. It makes me not even want to be around her. So sad. :(.

It is sad. How long has she been lying to you? Tweens will usually lie for a few reasons; to get out of trouble or responsibility, to make themselves seem more interesting or important or they can be afraid to tell the truth. That sort of behavior, while not appropriate, is not way out of the norm either. As kids get caught in lies and they mature they start to realize and modify their behavior, but that happens slowly. Everyone, adults included, lies to some extent.
If your daughter is just lying about everything; she had tuna for lunch but says she had turkey etc., she needs some help. Talk to the school or your pediatrician for a behavioral and mental health evaluation. Good Luck.
