My 13 year old daughter doesn't want to attend public school but wants to attend private school that costs more than i can afford, what do i do?

I agree with Jenn H also you should contact the private school cause sometimes they have scholarships available for deserving students that help take the pain out of the tuition.

Have you looked into transferring her into another school? If that isn't possible, did you contact the school about the drug issue? Why doesn't she feel safe? A lot of questions to be answered by the school administration. Does your city have a charter school? Many times they are tuition free and even if she had to get on a wait list, at least there would be a possibility of a transfer. If she must stay where she is, become very involved in the school and find out for yourself what exactly is going on. Some teens honestly just don't like school and many truly do have an issue with bullying or drug peer pressure that must be dealt with head on.

Because of peer pressure, drugs going on around in bathroom. She doesn't feel safe there & wants smaller number of students.

Why does she not want to attend public school? Personally, I'd be working with her and the school to resolve any issues that she has there.
