My 13 year old son does not want to go to school, last year he told me he was being bullied and now I just can't get to go to school

Thank you so much for your input, at least I don't feel completely alone on trying to figure out what is best for my son

Good to hear. Hopefully the new school works out!

On the off chance your son still has issues with school though, don't give up on homeschooling as a possible option. At 13, a lot of home schooled kids are working very independently... especially if they are following a clearly laid out curriculum, or distance education program. You don't need to stay home with your son unless you feel that he isn't capable of being home alone.

Very likely though, a new school will solve the problem. Best of luck to your son at his new school.

Thanks for responding, I am a working single mom, staying at home with my son is not an option for home schooling, for the moment I am transferring him to a different school

Have you looked into home schooling, remote education options, or alternative programs offered by your school board?

There are lots of ways for kids to get an education other than going to a regular school.
