my 14 year old has anger and bi-polar issues

I am at a lost right now as to what is the next step with my 14 year old granddaughter. I have her in counseling and she is a very outspoken sensitive young girl who has now stepped all over my toes and her mom and sister. Sometimes she is as sweet as sugar and before the day is over we are almost at war in a split second it seems over nothing. She has problems controlling her anger and does take medicine for this. (She has been classified as having bi-pola). I really need some time away from her for my mental state of mind. What more can I do? She is 14 and is an honor student in shool. Help??

Maybe get yourself into counseling or a support group for family members who also have a bipolar relative. I have a stepsister who is also bipolar and our parents barely survived the teen years.
