Now... if he is having an issue w/ bullying or anxiety or such... definitely help him seek help to resolve the issues, but if he's just being a lazy butt kid... lay down the law and stick w/ it.

Tell him to get his butt up and go to school or there will be no computer games... at all. School is his job and if he will not do his job and do it to the best of his ability (so... start doing his homework... seek tutoring if he's struggling, etc.) then he is not entitled to his 'pay'. You are required to provide him w/ a safe place to sleep, clothes to wear, and food to eat... but you are NOT required to provide him w/ a computer, cell phone, TV, doing his laundry (if you still do it), any junk food (chips, cookies, sodas, anything other than basic, nutritious meals... that you don't even HAVE to cook for him), driving him ANYWHERE other than to school, etc....

My son hates school and never does his homework. I don't know what to do with him as he doesn't care about anything. All he does is playing computer games. Yesterday, I told him he's only allowed to play computer games for 5 hours a week. He refused to go to school today and not talking to me! I've no idea what to do with him any more. Anyone has any suggestion? Please help
