My son is 14 he's 6ft tall and weights 198 pds. He has stood up for him self, but then he's the one to gets in trouble. The teachers, princilpal dont do crap to these kids who are doing the teasing. I see and hear the anger in him getting worse every day. Im afraid he's going to snap on one these kids and hurt them, and guess who will be blamed my son. Brandon has written to Dr. Phil asking him for help . My son is a gentle gaint he just wants tobe left alone. He's watching what he eats now and lifting weights. What kinda life do these bullies have at home have they not been taught manners by there parents, or respect in anyway.

I just sent another e-mail to my sons counselor. Brandon was suspended for intimidating another student and was told if he had another issue he would be expelled. After viewing the video they said they were wrong and Brandon had dont nothing. Every day he comes home telling me how he threw some kid up against the wall. He worries about getting in trouble after the whole suspending thing and wants to play foot ball next year in high school and doesnt want something on his record for fighting. Seems like a losing battle with this school. Brandon is in Fl. With his dad, Ive been in Nj since last Jan. Due to a car accident and have not been able to go back home due to my injuries so I cant even go tomthe school in person. Ive been flying him back and forth just sonwe can spend time together. Somthings have been real hard on him. Dont remember kids being so mean when I was in school. Its just wrong. Oh and the kids who pick on him are skinny lil rats as well....lol

Have you been in contact with school counselors? Mine had the same problem, but the counselors called me first. I told them that my son had permission to take care of business if someone started shit with him, but that he would rather be friends with everyone. (Another gentle giant...he's 16, 6'5", and 240 lbs. Not obese, but larger than most of the kids (both height & weight).

A couple days later, I received another call from the school, this time the principal. He was laughing so hard he almost couldn't talk! It seems that the runty little rat that was teasing my son took it to the next level, and pushed him. At that point, my young man put the kid in a headlock, and very calmly told him that he'd be happy to get suspended, so where would the kid like the first and last punch. The kid was so startled by the headlock that he started blubbering, apologized to my son, and has left him alone since. This was when he was 14.

The principal was proud of the noncombative way that my son handled it. He neutralized the kid without hurting him, got his point across, and turned one bully around.

Best of luck with your kiddo.
