yeah we have laid of trying to get him on a sippy every now and then we will put it in his room instead of the bottle to just see if he will take it or realize its not a bottle but he knows its not so he just throws it out of his room and goes back to playing. my twins were super easy to get on a sippy they pretty much never knew the difference but my youngest def. knows its not what he wants yet. i just have to remind my husband to be paitent with him because he gets more upset then i do that he wont take it.

Well i have a two yr old daughter and she just started taking the sippy cup. we tried for a while to give it to her , but she kept refusing also. so we decided to just let her do things at her own rate. my older child was so much easier with taking the sippy cup. but what i have learned is to relax a little and don't push it let him do it on his own time. every child is different and do things at their own pace. don't worry he will come around.

I would try a straw, you can find some with lids if you're concerned about messes. Maybe give your other kids straws and you drink out of one too.
