I also say absolutely not. I think it is admirable that she asked and not just snuck around and did it. Keep these lines of communication open. 15 is way too young and is illegal and I agree with Javis, not the friends I would want be child to hang around with. Besides, among teenagers, I don't think there is such thing as a "little drink." I am wondering if the party girl's parents are aware? If that is the case, they would be in for a whole lot of trouble. Teach her now at this young age, that is OK to say NO!

No. That is not ok. I personally feel it is different if it is in your own home, but sending her to a friends house, a party, with lots of other kids there....that just equals trouble. Especially if the parents get wind of it or the cops do.

No. It's illegal, if the cops show up, and they usually do, they will call you. Once you tell them you allowed it, you are in for child endangerment. Not worth it. If she wants to have a drink with her friends, she is hanging with the wrong crowd.

Scientifically speaking, since she is a girl, never had a drink, and she is that young, even one drink can send her over the top. This one night of so called fun is not worth your child's life.

Well, ask yourself this: Are you ready to take full responsibility in front of a court of law for allowing your underage child to not only consume alcohol, but to consume alcohol outside of your private residence? Because, if not, your answer should be no, and you need to monitor her friends a little more closely.

My daughter would not be going to that party.

I'd thank her for being honest with me and remind her that drinking alcohol at her age is illegal and can lead to some REALLY stupid decisions and she needs to think about ALL the possibilities of what could happen being around a bunch of teenagers who are drinking.
