She is so sick no fever just stuffy and coughing. Shes having a hard time nursing and then she has a coughing fit and throws up. I have tried steaming her and stucking her nose. I just dont know what to do now I dont want her to lose weight cause shes so young. Im just worried about her. Any advise or tricks to help, would be well appreciated.

When my daughter got sick at a little under 2 months old I could only get her to nurse RIGHT after being in a really steamy room (like the bathroom with the shower on hot for 5 minutes) it helped her breathe. You can't use any cough medicine or anything that young. I would reccomend talking to your doctor for sure, also make sure she isn't breathing super fast, it can be a sign of RSV which can be deadly if not treated. I hope your little one starts feeling better.

If you haven't already call her doctor at that age they can get really sick really fast and not eating is a bigger deal when they are so little. At the very least they can give you some saline to help unclog her nose I think you might be able to get some at the store too.

Yes, contact the doctor. Also try elevating the head of her crib a little and a cool mist humidifier. You can put Vick's baby rub on the bottoms of her feet to help with congestion, too. Good luck! It's hard having a sick baby. :(

Contact your pediatrician for their recommendations. At 17 days, that's pretty young...and they need to make sure nothing else is wrong
