My 18 month old refuses to eat all the time. He lost weight and hence the Dr recommended pediasure for him. Since i began giving him pediasure 1- 8oz bottle every evening he refused to eat anything all dasy the bnext day. If i dont give him Pediasure he is always starving and refuses to eat any other food, soups, fruits etc. i have tried everything yet he refuses it. I feel horrible in this situation . He had already got his molars, so now I am not sure what is the matter with him and why refuses to eat.

I can understand where you are coming from. Before that, did the doctor says he is alright physically? I mean, like what Jennifer suspected, could he be teething?

Why not you try reducing the amount of pediasure and make sure the time of the last feed before meal time is some time apart, not too close so that he will not be feeling still full and may try taking a little bit of the food you give?

And if you are worried about his health like not getting sufficient nutrients, the vitamins and minerals etc, I can recommend you a supplement that is very good for the whole family especially for kids like your case who doesn't want to eat, are fussy picky eater, people who have weak immune system or health issues like asthma, allergies, high blood pressure or are diabetics etc, it's really good. Our family's overall health and immune system have improved a lot, even complexion! I am not sure if I can post the product here but you can email me at vm_misc13@yahoo.com.sg if you are interested.

I wonder if his gums just hurt all the time. Have you tried teething gel or tylenol
