Have you had her evaluated by sleep specialists?
J had insomnia when he was an infant. It does take a few months for them to pin down a cause (sometimes they cannot), and find a solution that works. They will probably ask that you keep a sleep log before doing any tests. You have to write down every time you put her down to sleep, the time she falls asleep, and the time she wakes up. Then you have to add up all of the minutes she was actually sleeping for each 24 hour period.

One bit of advice. I know it seems counteractive, but do not keep her up all day, she needs a nap, so if she wants to take one, let her. Being "overtired" can disrupt her endocrine system's ability to produce melatonin, which is the hormone that regulates our circadian rhythm and makes us sleep. If you keep her up for too many hours, her body can't produce it, and she can't fall asleep. Even if she doesn't sleep, make sure she gets at least 4 hours of "quiet time" per day. Our doctors recommended two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon at that age. Quiet time means placing her in a darkened, quiet room with no distractions. White noise or soft instrumental music is okay, but avoid music with words and electronic screens.

Continue to avoid juice drinks. She can get the same nutrients though food and avoid the extra sugar (even in drinks with no added sugar, the sugar concentration is much higher than in the actual fruit because of the juicing process).

Go to your doctor and ask for a sleep study. They'll be able to see what is or isn't happening with her sleep.
