My 2 1/2 yrs daughter doesn't want to talk when she go out side. she's so active and so playful baby. I think she's not even shy. I don't know why, any suggestions? thanksMy daughter gonna be 3 on April. Do you guys think she's fine with speaking or she needs help? She knows all the names of animals and she speaks clearly like ( I don't want it.I told you.come here.be careful. I don't know. I want this. I don't want this. Please. Big fish(more sub)swimming, jumpping, eating, crying, dancing, puppy is so cute. Where is it. I got it. What you gonna do.) And more and more.

Jinny, are you taking her to playdates, or play group, or something, and she doesn't want to interact?

Usually, around that age, they do get the stranger anxiety. All of a sudden, they aren't always around familiar people, so they get quiet. That could very well be part of it, and if so, then, yes, as she gets used to the new people, she'll start being your bubbly girl again.

Sounds like she's just fine. It could be that the "big" of outside intimidates her, making her feel the need to be quiet. Does she enjoy the outdoors? Does she play while outside? Does the rest of her behaviour seem normal, aside from the lack of vocalisation? If so, then I'd say that she's fine, but slightly overwhelmed at how "big" it is outdoors.
