I have been divorce for over a year now and the agreement was my daughter should go to daddy's house 3 weekends a month from friday eve. till Monday morning... At the beggining was very hard for her since she never spend a lot of time with dad, we move out when she was just 16 months old. Through the time she was Happy when she meeting Daddy and happy when i will Pick her up... Now its been 2 months that she started crying no daddy.. i want stay with Mommy... and screams when she sees him... but also.. 2 weeks ago she started crying when she sees me and wants to stay with daddy... It just breaks My heart both ways cause all that I want is her to be happy and enjoy time with each of us... Is this normal? Is she showing preference on him now? I am feeling like she doesnt want to be with me and this is soo Hard...

This is very normal little people do not do well with change they get comfortable with whomever they are with and so when it is time to go with the other parent they cry, because they don't have the words to express that they are feeling a little stressed it will pass. Make it a very clean hand off either way keep the routine the same and she will get used to it. Kids at this age develop a little bit of separation anxiety it will pass.
