We were traveling to USA and all her eating habits changed. She was constipated there didnt go for 5 straight days. Glycerin suppository helped but then she started having hard and painful poops We stayed there for 2 months. Lot of eating issues and constipation. But prune juices helped that time. Then we got back to India. She's been the same. Now on laxatives but she started holding her poop. Where lexatives are trying to loosen then. She making herself constipated. She's not even trying to go. We had two bad episodes where she really needs to go and she's trying to hold it by stiffing her lower body and crying badly then I had to put glycerin suppository to make her go. Then we have like whole flood of her poop. Spoke to her doctor. Giving her lexatives for two days now. Saw her wanting to poop then holding it again. I m all confused and stressing too much. What do I do when she needs to go and she stiffs Her lower body. Thanks in advance. She's having lot of fruit juices oats and her veggies etc. less milk and sugar.

Hello guys. Thanks on ur expert advices. I m giving her plenty of fluids juices her veggies and all. Also the main achievement I want to share is I started helping her poop to pass by putting pressure on her stomach by holding her legs like knees touching her chest. She doesn't like it cries and all but still she's going. Hopefully this will help Also good for her potty training as we sit in a toilet for long everyday. Wish me luck. Thanks for listening to me.

Keep putting her on the potty and urging her to try. Assure her she has nothing to be embarrassed about, that everybody does it (show her if necessary!)

And keep giving the fruit juices and keep her exercised.

But if she witholds on purpose, better to upset her by giving a suppository than to damage her health by letting fecal toxins accumulate in the body. Do whatever it takes to ensure she's doing a daily dooh.

She is embarrassed that she has to poop. Sounds funny but that is what's going on. I think.
