Hello, first time mom to a 2 month old. I had my Lil one at 37 weeks and she was 6lbs. She had used a pacifier while in the hospital and was formula fed because she wasn't latching. Since 3 weeks she strictly breastfed and gags on bottles and pacifiers. I want her to use one to soothe her but should I force it on her or is it even a big deal.?

I wouldnt give her the pacifier anymore. If she doesnt want it its maybe a good thing. My son also didnt want it anymore at that age so we stopped giving it to him.I sometimes think to myself just aswell we didnt give it because a know 3 moms with toddlers that are now having problems to take the pacifier away...and the kids are 3 years old. So you wont have to deal with that later.

They make some super breastlike bottles. They even had a top 5 story about the best breast to bottle ones on circle of moms. Maybe it would help to invest in one?

I love breastfeeding her , but I'm going back to work and my mom and bf are having trouble feeding her because she's gagging on the bottles and pacifier to soothe her.

My daughter never ever took a bottle of pacifier for the same reason. She would gag and vomit if anything other than a finger or breast went into her mouth. They soothe with the breast too, not just feed. It is so good to keep nursing on demand, I would stick to it if you can!
