My 22 month old Shayne in the last few weeks has stopped sleeping through the night. Sometimes he has bad dreams and other times he just wakes up and crys til I go get him. As soon as I lay him in our bed hes right back to sleep. I just dont know what to do. I love my kids but I WANT MY BED BACK lol. Him and my younger son share a room so I cant just let him cry it out because he will then wake up my other son. Im just at my witts end. I feel helpless. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. My 11 month old sleeps all night long so I dont know what the problem is. I dont know if he is having a growth spurt or what is going on. I have thought about taking him to the doctor but I dont want to seem like an idiot when it turns out theres nothing wrong. I just dont know what to do and feel like crying. He doesnt take a long nap during the day and I know hes eating enough. I just dont know. Please help!!

Did you find a solution to this problem, what did you end up doing? My 22 month old just started having the exact same problem and just like you I am unable to just let him cry it out as he will wake everyone else up and exaserbate the problem. Please help, thank you

Never feel like an idiot. My daughter who is 2 wakes up in the middle of the night, not all the time, but sometimes and screams until we go get her, she is also a very light sleeper (kinda annoying at times, lol) and if my 5 mo old crys it wakes her up and then its a fight to get her to go back to bed.
But if you will feel better having him checked out then by all means go for it, there is nothing wrong with being sure something isnt going on.
Good Luck to you
