From 17-28 I was addicted to meth(ice/tweak) I started because my friends were doing it it became my life meth can easily run your life I don't remember how it made me feel but I was hooked sometimes I would want it so bad i'd do anything to get it I often stole to get the $ I even sold my body for it it took over my life I did it for years in the beginning and I stopped only because I became pregnant after I gave birth I promised myself I wouldn't do it again but like a normal pregnancy I had gained weight and had a hard time losing it so I started again saying I'd only do it to lose the weight well since my husband at the time did
it also it was harder to just quit then baby #2 came and I stopped again this time I stayed off after she was born because I started getting really bad headaches and felt sick a lot so when I became pregnant the third time I was clean and had a healthier and delivered
my third child by then I had stopped craving it and decided why start again so since then I have been drug free I am now a mother of five very healthy children and unfortunately I am disabled due to a stroke drs have said the stroke was caused from underlying high blood pressure genes but I believe that all those drugs literally killed some of my brain cells it's very hard to force someone to go to rehab if they don't want to stop then your time money and energy will be wasted. I'm not saying don't try but I'd definitely look at ways to bring it up if you've tried pleading and asking try bringing a group to him talking to others who have the problem helps a lot I had a stroke at 34 I don't wish that on anyone I truelly hope he stops on his own and I pray that the hurt you feel doesn't ruin your relationship with your son because no matter how drugged up he is I promise you he still needs his mommy and loves you dearly

You can't. You can certainly discuss it with him, but if he doesn't want help, then you can't force it. Does he live with you? If so, you can always give him the two choices - rehab or move out.
