My 3 month old is not sleeping longer at night. Is it ok to give cereal?

No. It is NORMAL for a 3 month old to wake at night to feed. This is the age they are generally going through a growth spurt, and what you baby needs right now is more MILK (breastmilk or formula) for optimum growth, not nutrient devoid rice cereal that can interfere with the development of the digestive system and deprive the baby of the essential nutrients in the milk. It is a MYTH that rice cereal helps them sleep at night. I am also not sure why people around here seem to think 3 month olds should not wake for feeds at night.
