My 3 year old son is not potty training and I've tried everything... he is developmentally delayed and has a chromosomal abnormality. What should I do?

Just keep trying, Mom. Keep the potty where he has easy access to it. If he will cooperate, place him on it several times a day juat so he gets the sensation of sitting on it. You may have to do this repeatedly, but tell him that this is how mommy and daddy poops and you would love for him to poop like a big boy. His developmental delays may be what is making things so difficult for him. Just keep trying Mom. Perhaps he simply isn't ready yet. In any event, you do what you feel in your heart is best. If it were me, and I do have a developmentally delayed brother, I would just keep pluggin away and keep trying. You can do it, Mom!
