Talk to the head of the day-care and find out why they are singling your child out like this and why weren't you told the first time it happen, also find out why they are not redirecting you child and letting him keep hitting, also why did they let it get this bad, why are they not working with you? If you don't like the answer they give you or they are not giving you a good answer then inform them that their business is lacking the educational need of you child and find a new day-care.

I would be asking the workers what they are doing to help you 3 year old to not hit? 3 years old are still very physical and even more so when they have a hard time speaking. Is he mad at something, are the kids making fun of him? Kids don't normally hit for the sake of hitting even if they do, its up to the workers to redirect it and teach no hitting help him use words or other way to vent. What are you paying them for if they are not figuring out how to teach your child?
