I NEED HELP!! :( I AM A SINGLE MOTHER 25 WITH 2 BOYS. I HAVE MADE BAD DECISION LIKE PUTTING THEIR DAD BEFORE ME SO FOR THE PAST 3 MOS WE HAVE BEEN LIVING IN A FAMILY SHELTER. RECENTLY MY SON 3 HAS DEVELOPED A BAD BEHAVIOR, AND NOW HE IS BEATING UP HIS 2YR OLD BROTHER. TELLING ME AND ADULTS STUFF LIKE "SHUT UP" "DONT TALK TO ME" ETC AND USING FOUL LANGUAGE. HE WENT TO SCHOOL THIS PAST MONDAY AND A TEACHER HIT MY SON IN THE FACE. I DONT KNOW IF THE ACTING UP IS BECAUSE OF OUR LIVING SITUATION (WHICH WILL CHANGE NEXT WEEK) OR BECAUSE A TEACHER HAS BEEN HITTING MY SON...SHOULD I ENROLL HIM INTO THERAPY OR DO YOU THINK HE IS LOOKING FOR ATTENTION?

DO ANYBODY HAVE ANY ADVICE, ON WHAT I SHOULD DO? IM IN DESPERATE NEED..IM SO STRESSED OUT AND THINKING ABOUT QUITTING MY JOB.

I would notify the police right NOW. Your child should never be hit by a teacher. Does he need some help? Yes, and the school district should help you find the right learning setting for him.

I agree 100%! NO teacher ever can hit a child. Call the principal and the police. Do it now. Don't discuss it with your child or anyone else as facts can get distorted. You son has son issues he need help with and maybe a BD classroom is the right setting for him presently. He should never be hit, by anyone He is 3 and in a true state on turmoil1 A good loving teacher will help him tremendously..

My first step would be to press assault charges on that teacher. My second step would be to start looking for a counselor for your son. That is a LOT for any child to have to handle and it's tough to be 3 in the first place. I would recommend family counseling for you as well.
