My 3 year olds speech and understanding.

Hi. I'm writing to see if anyone has had a similar experience. My daughter is 3.5 years old and she talks. Most of the talk is babble but a lot of the time she can say 2 word phrases or mini sentences. She went to audiology and she was just in hospital yesterday having grommets done as she was diagnosed with glue ear. I'm giving her a couple of weeks to see if her speech etc picks up but I'm not so sure. She is such a happy child, always does as you tell her, loves kissing and cuddling her me and her dad. Loves playing with other kids and points or says to tell me something or show me something. Her SALT suggested ASD but I just don't see it. She can have problems communicating and understanding but that's it. Says because my daughter was looking at herself in the mirror and talking to herself this was a sign of autism?? I have seen loads of kids do this. Has anyone else got any of these problems?? Would be good if someone could tell me something about it as I am worried sick.
