Brian was diagnosed 20 years ago when he was put into a mental health facility. Was there 18 months. Has not been easy since. He lives at home with me and my husband (has a lovely space downstairs). His moods have always been up and down, but getting worse as he gets older. He has depression, OCD, Anxiety and Misophonia. The Misophonia is creating such problems that he feel suicidal and all I can do is talk to him to comfort him. He cannot stand almost any sound his dad makes, including footsteps and says he fantasizing about killing him. He then cries and says it is not his dad's fault but he is going crazy and cannot live like this. Anyone else live like this? I'd love to talk to someone. Brian has been seeing psychiatrists and psychologists all his life but says nobody understands him or can help him.

I don't have this issue, but I must inform you, if he is threatening your spouse, I would suggest you to put him in a facility.
