my 4 month old baby refuses to eat after giving him solid and he is lo

He clearly is not ready for solids (and neither are most babies at this age, which is why it is not recommended to start them until 6 months old). My daughter wouldn't take solids until she was 8 months old. At this point, exclusively breastmilk or formula is best.

Stop trying to force solids at this age! Breastmilk or formula. Stop listening to all of those relatives who 'know best'. Solids should not be introduced until after 6 monthe, and then only as a 'learning' item to get baby used to different tastes. They should still be breast or formula fed.

He needs only breastmilk or formula until at least 6 months of age, then he should only have soft foods to help him get used to the idea of real food. Most of his nutrition should still come from breastmilk/formula even when you begin on solid foods. From 6-12 months, you should slowly introduce more and different types of foods.
