hi there, my baby girl is 4 weeks old. after about a week of breastfeeding, she went over to Nan formula bc my breastmilk was not enough for her. natyrally she became constipated and i had to help her poo with suppositories. after almost 3 weeks of constimation and suppositories we changed the Milk to similac and now the poo is softer, but she's not doing it on her own... (or maybe im not giving her a chance. ) she will push and push untill she is red in the face while sleeping or even when awake. i helped her this morning with a suppository and the poo was soft, but WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE PUSHING??? is there something wrong with her?

firstly talk to your doctor, or get a second opinion. My bet is she doesn't know how to push as you keep doing the work for her (suppositories). THis is something that she needs to work out on her own. She just needs the opportunity to learn. However this is my opinion and I am not a doc so go and see one :) Good luck!
