i have a 4 year old and she knows her numbers,colors,and shapes very well and she is starting to get intrested in learning her letters she knows how to do the letters R,O,I,and Y mostly because her name is RYLIE and she like the O because its like a circle she says. but i dont know how to make it fun with learning abc's any tips would be greatly appreciated

Finger painting (especially pudding on a cookie sheet) is a good way to introduce letters and have her practice writing them... It's messy, but fun... and yummy!

Reading... always.

Pointing out letters in the world around you... like the stop sign, the big M for McDonald's, etc...

You can buy (or make) flashcards that have the capital letter on one and the lowercase on the other... and play matching games like Memory.
