She's probably lashing out from her own pain. First of all it's not ok for her to do that and if she does you need to give her a consequence.

On that note if you already realize she doesn't want you near her when she gets hurt than don't go near her. Is she pushing you because you go to comfort her or does she just lash out? If it's because you are going near her then you need to either ask her if she wants a hug (or you around) before trying to get close. Respect her request to be left alone if that's what she wants.

If you are just minding your own business and she gets hurt and starts pushing you or scratching you then you need to give her a time-out or bring her to her room (or bench if it's at a park or something) and tell her you do not hurt people.

If you're trying to comfort her and she doesn't want it then just leave her alone.

let her mom deal with her when she gets hurt, or cries... but if she pushes you or pinches you you HAVE to tell her "NO, you are NOT allowed to hurt me!" every single time. the best advice my mother EVER gave me was that even if your baby is sick or hurt, that does NOT make it ok for them to hurt you... my baby was 18 months old at that time... your 4yo should be able to understand that.
