Oh, no, honey, she's not too young... and if she's chewing a lot on her hands, slobbery (more than usual), and not interested in food, you'll soon start to feel the little tooth bumps beneath the gums.

One of my students had a baby in February, started teething around the middle of june...still no teeth yet, but heavy chewing, can feel the teeth below the gums, and any day now one will pop thru.

Be prepared for fussiness, higher than normal temps, and possibly stomach discomfort or loose stool.

Good luck

Yes she has and she keeps puting her hand in her mouth. But is she not too young to start teething?

Edith, has she been "chewing" a lot? That's a good indicator of teething...I hope it's not an infection as well, my dear!

Well, I'm not sure what "sumfin" and "dis" is...

But, if you're concerned about your child's food intake, and she seems to be losing weight at the age of 4 months, I'd say that she's probably in a growth spurt, teething, possible infections...Or perhaps you need to supplement (if you're breastfeeding, that is)

Take her to your physician. Have her checked out. Mention any and all concerns to the doctor, and see what they say.
