Okay so it was brought to my attention today that my daughter is humping in class and her teacher is concerned. My child has always humped since she was around a year old and when I brought it to her doctors attention I was told that it was perfectly normal. I know 100 % that my daughter has never been molested or seen me having sex or anyone else for that matter I am just concerned because I do not understand why she does this and I do not want to loose my children because the teacher is concerned about her behavior. How do I get her to stop? I have talked to her before to make sure no one has ever touched her innapropriately I really do not understand I need help!! Is this normal behavior and is anyone else dealing with this issue and if so what do I need to do?

I have a neice who from around one use to always hump also her hand toys etc... now she is 22yrs old an it hasn't stop but she does this in private of corse as she is open with her mum about it as she gets a sexual arousal an just can't help herself am unsure if its the same issue or not as some kids may grow out of this also there are things on the net an they are fully grown adults that have done it for years an still can't help themselves but to keep doing it.. its an urge.. Just letting you know there was no cure for this if its the same condition cant seem to figure out the name but it was also once years back on 20/20..

I am really concerned that her teacher is thinking on another level I do not want to have my kids taken away for something I have no control over. I do not know what to do I love my kids and I am just at a loss right now for an explanation I just don't understand why thet are making this a big issue when everything I have read today online and from what her pediatrician has said is normal behavior.. Granted she should not do this around anyone else I really need to figure out how to stop this behavior but at the same time I do not want to make her feel like I am scolding her or embarras her

That's just it she has been doing this since she was around a year old so I have no clue where she would of gotten it from or why she does it I have asked her but she acts like it is no big deal

From my experience with kids. In most cases it turns out to be a faze they go through. If you want her to stop Try to make her understand that it's not something nice to do. Also ask her where she got the idea of doing this from, usually kids will tell you where they got the idea from.
