It IS normal. If she has never been dry and is still wetting, she is the same as 25% of all other children her age. By all means, take her to see the doctor to check there are no medical issues (sometimes there can be a medical issue causing it), but if there aren't then it is just something she will likely have to grow out of over time. My brother was a bedwetter well into his teens. My stepson wet until he was 12. My niece, until she was about 10. It happens, and a child should not feel ridiculed or belittled for it.

There are some measures you can take, although I will say I've never been a promoter of limiting drinks. In fact, you could make sure her water intake during the day increases so she can learn better bladder control or stretch her bladder a little larger (it improved things for my stepson when he drank more during the day and less in the evening too). There are alarm systems, but these only work if the child is not a heavy sleeper (and heavy sleeping is often the reason they don't wak when they need to pee in the first place).

I certainly wouldn't be advocating medicating your child for it at this stage - she is young and may outgrow it soon anyway.

She's 5. 20% of all 5 year olds still wet the bed and this is perfectly normal. She may just not be ready to be dry yet. Pull ups are your friend.
