My 6 week old wakes up constantly at night.

My 6 week old wakes up constantly at night. She sleeps really well during the day but at night she wakes up screaming every 15-30 min. She usually sleeps a little better between 11pm and 2-3 am but before and after she won't sleep.

I breastfeed every 3 hours, day and night. At night I do it more often because I hope that will make her sleep longer but I'm not sure anymore.

I'm going back to work in 3 days and something has to change. I am not expecting her to sleep all night, but 3-4 hour stretches would be nice. She is well fed, has a clean diaper and doesn't seem to be gassy. I don't know if I should start swaddling her again.

I'm exhausted and frustrated. My first daughter never slept through the night until she was off the breast at 11 months but she slept in 3 hour stretches...

Any advice will be appreciated.

At that age the Dr is the right person to ask. Mayb gas or if your breast feeding it could be a number of things

Each baby is different. What the first did, the second often will not, and so forth. Couldn't hurt to try swaddling her again. Good luck.
