My daughter Hailey Started 1st grade this week. The first fear was who was picking her up. I told her the babysitter, that picked her up all last year. I asked the teacher to take ahold of her that first morning before her crying got worse. The babysitter called me that afternoon that Hailey will not go home with her and that she is waiting for ne to pick her up. The babysitter finally got her to leave with her and i ended up leaving work to get her. Then the babysitter told me she can't watch her because she won't take her home like that again. The 2nd day of school she was perfectly fine because she knows on Tuesday and Wednesday I pick her up because of my work schedule. So I had to go sign her up for a daycare. I have been talking to her about it getting her ready for the next change coming. Then today agin she cried and wouldn't let me go when I dropped her at school. I am exhausted from tis. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me?? Please

She never went to preschool. She has always been with family. I believe she has this fear from her biological father walking out of her life over 2 years ago, because she brings it up every so often. How do I get her through this every time something changes in her life? she is close with her step-father that has been there since she was 2. It just breaks my heart to see her go through this.

It's been less than a week......you need to give her time.

However, has she ever been to preschool or anything like this before?
