I don't know how else to tell him not to wander off with people he does not know. He's a first grader but I notice him well when playing with other kids in 1st grade and 2nd grade he wanders off with people! Today I saw him with a group of teenagers that he's never met before, and the principal called the other day that he wasn't listening to his teacher and started talking to a grown-up on the streets. I think he's good that he's so friendly and outgoing, but I told him that strangers can also be dangerous....offering to get into vehicles, inviting somewhere, etc. How do I tell him not to talk to strangers outside of home? I first noticed this behavior around Christmas break, and I've taught him how to stay safe. Yet, he still follows strangers and starts telling them his name and he chases them and asks if he can come along. The teacher tells me what happened by the end of the day, and she has said that he wasn't staying within his peer group and started to find random people to follow. Any ideas?
