When He turned 6m he turned into a monster! He used to sleep through the night now we get up 3-4 times a night. He now screams in the carseat! Screams bloody murder! I have checked out the carseat to make sure he isn't getting pinched and it fits well. If I leave the room to do anything he screams! I am having a rough time with the screaming! Could he be teething? If so how long does it last? I am reminded that this too shall pass. HELP please

Thank you, how do I know when he is teething? He chews everything and drools puddles. I can see teeth but they haven't poked through yet.

He is beginning to realise he is a separate individual from you. It is very normal. It could be teething, which can last on and off for many months.

Hi there, my girlfriends son did the same thing around the same age and the doc sd it was a bit of separation anxiety, I guess around 6 months they become a lot more aware of their surroundings and their caregivers and attachments are forming...so when he can't see you he may get anxious. I wouldn't worry it is a phase that he will grow out of, but not to minimize your feelings...it can be super difficult to listen to a screaming baby.

My daughter hated the car for the first 6 months of her life...screamed from the moment I put her in to the moment I took her out...it was really hard...but now she sleeps in the car...so it will pass.

Hang in there
