I have a 7 month old baby girl who used to sleep through the night and previously napped three times a day. Now, she's practicing getting up on her knees, sitting up, and babbling like crazy. She got her first two bottom teeth and although she woke up crying for three or four nights last month, it stopped once her teeth came out. Over the past two weeks though, she has begun waking up three or four times a night. I know you're not supposed to put your baby to sleep on its stomach but that's the way she has been sleeping since she was two months old. Every time I put her down on her back, she woke up and stayed awake! So, now, I put her down on her side and if she rolls onto her back or her stomach she cries and doesn't open her eyes, but wants her bottle. She wakes up again after three hours or so and wants a bottle. Sometimes she will just suck on the nipple and fall back asleep but she wakes up again. My daughter is a big girl - she's 96th percentile. She drinks about 30 ounces a day and eats oatmeal, fruits, veggies, and yogurt thought the day. I'm tired! Any suggestions?
