my 8 months old is allergic to milk,what should i do

My daughter (now 11 yrs old) was also allergic to milk, eggs & wheat (grew out of allergy at 3 yrs of age). First, you should have an Epi Pen (an extra pen for daycare, if applicable). If formula fed, the peditrician should be able to recommend a formula (we used Isomil, not sure if that's still an option). There are a lot of milk-free (soy, etc.) options available now. Just remember to read labels and educate yourself on other names for milk (casein, etc.).

I'm used to dealing with food allergies and intolerances (my youngest has celiac disease). Let me know if you need any additional information.
