someone please help my 8 month old used to sleep in her crib now she won't but she will sleep in her bassinet and I don't get why...she hates being wrapped in a blanket she likes her freedom so I'm completely baffled why she won't sleep in her crib and it's the same routine every night but she flips out when I put her in the crib to the point of hysterics but I can put her in her bassinet and she's absolutely fine and will sleep the whole night even with no room..

lalaboom..

the funny thing is her crib mattress height ratio to the bars is equal to the bassinet..I've done everything and even removed her mobile I'm not sure what's going on with her she has to snuggle right in close on me to even sleep and she will wake up if she feels like I'm too far ..she's beyond attached to me to the point where if I leave the room she will cry until her dad brings her to where I am in the apartment or I come to where she is to see her..I have been home with her 24/7 since birth she will be 9 months on the 27th maybe it's seperation anxiety..he hasn't really done a whole lot with her I can count on 2 hands how many bottles he has fed her since birth..I basically do what a "single mom" does something I did with my son 12yrs ago when his dad signed off rights before his birth..any suggestions??

"she likes her freedom..."

She probably doesn't sleep in the crib because it makes her feel "entrapped." Maybe the bars are too high? Compare the sizes and shapes, maybe that will help....
