She drunk a good amount of the whole milk. Could this make her sick, and if so should I take her to the doctor? She's had a fever today and yesterday.

I doubt that the fever would be related to the milk. She might have a particularly terrible diaper, but that would normally be the extent of it.

I agree I don't think illness from drinking whole milk would manifest itself as a fever maybe vomiting and/or diarrhoea. My baby is always finding her brothers cup of milk and having a sip LOL.

Ok thank you so much. This is her first fever so it made me a little nervous. When my son has a fever it last for about a day. But for abigail we're going on two days.

Only if one of her parents has lactose intolerance, which means she'll have it too. You can give whole meal in cereals from 6 months and start giving them little bits in bottles from 9 months. If she does have an allergic reaction it would be: a nappy rash, rash on the cheeks or hives over her body or even vomiting but not usually a fever, that could be from teething?

It wouldn't be the milk that has given her the fever. It wouldn't make her sick if she drank it just once (unless it was off and breeding bacteria?). The main reason whole milk is not recommended at this age is because it doesn't contain the nutrients needed, and they can't digest it particularly well. But her having had some once is not going to have any long term effect, or harm her in any way.
